Here's a look at "phase 3", which consisted of staining the top of the dresser and distressing the painted parts. I'm absolutely loving the red oak stain I used on it. It's going to match perfectly with the new hardware for the drawers.

Dresser re-do: phase 3
Well, one thing is for sure... Refinishing furniture is NOT an easy task. Oh, how I love it though. This dresser is turning into a week-long project, but it's almost complete. I can't wait to reveal the finished product (tomorrow, I promise!).
