Vinyl Art

Vinyl wall decals can be a saving grace for apartment renters.  You can dress up a wall without causing damage.   When you move out (or change your style), simply peel the decal off and throw it away.   No patching or painting required.  Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

I, for one, am a fan of vinyl wall art so I purchased a rather large decal from The Sticker Hut on Etsy. (Yes, it has bird silhouettes).  The application process wasn't as easy as I assumed it would be.  Despite my extreme care during the application process, I still ended up with some air bubbles and had to ask for a replacement panel.  Needless to say, I was nervous when it came time to put the replacement panel up.  What kind of crafter would I be if I screwed it up again?  In the end, I applied correctly and the decal looks great.  I don't have a headboard for my bed (yet) so it adds a nice touch to my bedroom wall.
