Despite its hectic nature, the concrete jungle offers a wealth of things to see and do, especially around the holiday season. As a fan (and subscriber) of Real Simple magazine, I jumped at the opportunity to visit the Real Simple Pop-Up Shop in Rockefeller Plaza.
The Pop-Up Shop offers gift ideas, events/seminars, shopping, L'Oreal makeovers, holiday photo opps and, best of all, free samples. I scurried over there early this morning for the 10am opening and was lucky enough to be one of the first 250 visitors to walk away with a free gift bag! I had a fun time perusing the shop and its many cute offerings. The Real Simple staff was great to chat with as well (I'd work there in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose, that's for sure).
